Researcher interests: Inorganic and bioinorganic chemistry: design of novel chelating ligands for transition metal complexes; design of inorganic small molecules and polymer-based compounds having interesting biological and medicinal reactivity; study of their structure, activity, mechanism and potential pharmaceutical use. Design and development of sophisticated delivery systems for biologically active compounds. Development of synthetic model compounds of the active sites of metalloproteins having variable chemical and medicinal applications.
