Function

  • The laboratory actively engages in research relating to
  • Geochemistry
  • Marine geochemistry
  • Environmental geochemistry
  • Low temperature geochemistry
  • Metamorphic petrology
  • Fluid-rock interactions
  • Biogeochemistry of oceanic trace metals
  • Geochemistry of natural solutions
  • Radioactivity of groundwater

Advantages

  • The geochemical laboratories employ highly knowledgeable, skilled researchers employing state-of-the-art technologies and equipment.

Available equipment

  • Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometer (ICP-OES; Perkin Elmer Optima 3000)
  • Atomic Absorption (AA ; Perkin-Elmer PC-5100 ZL) with two modules
