Rapid Bacterial Spore Bioassay Detection Kit for Post Autoclave Analysis

Rapid Spore Detection Kit Prof. Sigal Ben Yehuda TTM 2022-16232 Bacterial spores are troublesome for various industries but particularly in the medical and food industries as they withstand traditional sanitation techniques such as pasteurization and insufficiently harsh autoclaves. Successful sanitation can be monitored via commercially available kits but this takes anywhere between 24 min to 24 hours and there are limitations in time, efficiency, accuracy, and sensitivity. The researchers at HUJI have developed a technology that can reduce wait times to 5 min and therefore provides a breakthrough in spore-detection technology. Novel Agents for Therapy of Cytokine Storm Associated with Bacterial and Viral Infections and Other Hyper-inflammatory Conditions

There is a growing unmet need for novel treatment of an extreme inflammatory response to infection. The global cytokine storm therapy market is poised to grow at a lucrative rate with the increasing incidence of multi-drug resistant bacterial strains, sepsis, surging viral diseases, inflammatory diseases such as pancreatitis, autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis, and others, coupled with the escalating research, clinical development, and healthcare expenditures....

Development of a Probiotic that Protects Chicks from Salmonella

The successful development of this probiotic is likely to reduce Salmonella levels in commercial poultry operations in both broiler, layer, and breeder operations. This will reduce morbidity and mortality of chicks resulting in a more ethical and efficient operation. Also likely is a reduction in zoonotic infections, through contaminated meat or eggs, and levels of antibiotic resistant Salmonella. This product will theoretically be able to replace salmonella specific vaccination, and reduce the need for antibiotic veterinary interventions. This product will hypothetically be able to reduce levels of other poultry gut pathogens such as Campylobacter and Clostridium....
